Brighton Oasis Project

Brighton Oasis Project aims to improve the lives and maximise the potential of the diverse range of women, children and young people affected by substance and alcohol misuse.  It seeks to reduce drug related harm by providing services which offer holistic support, from harm minimisation through to total abstinence. The services are complemented by other specialist services for children, young people and services for women working in the sex industry.

Brighton Oasis Project runs a 16 week POCAR programme (Parenting Our Children Addressing Risk). This combines treatment for substance misuse and a parenting programme. It is open to women who use drugs/and or alcohol who have social services involvement with their children or with the children they care for.
