Family Law Clinic - Sussex University

The Family Law Clinic offers 30 minute interviews at Sussex Law School every Wednesday between 2pm and 6pm (free parking).

The Law Clinics are dependent on the services of student advisers from the Law School and therefore run only during term time.

The Family Law Clinic aims to provide a public service to local people who seek legal advice on family-related issues. At the same time, the Clinic aims to provide opportunities for students at the University of Sussex develop and improve their practical legal skills.

Areas on which they offer advice:

  • family disputes
  • divorce
  • separation
  • children issues
  • co-habitation
  • financial issues (procedures)

The Family Law Clinic is supervised by Dr John Jupp, who has a number of years experience working as a family solicitor in the Sussex region, and has acheived specialist Law Society Accreditation in family law issues.
