Black and Minority Ethnic Community Partnership (BMECP)

BMECP a local Charity, works with diverse Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) communities and their families. BMECP manages the BMECP Centre, a training and community space with affordable offices, meeting and training rooms. BMECP delivers bespoke training programmes and provides support to the BME community.  A group of volunteer Community Champions have been recruited to support BMECP with the community engagement function.   The Champions have been trained to act as an important link between their community and service providers and to ensure that BME communities access key services.as well as ensuring that they participate in local developments that affect their lives.
