MindOut Brighton
MindOut Brighton is a mental health service run by and for lesbians, gay men, bisexual, trans, and queer people. The service provides:
- Advice and information
- Advocacy
- A peer support group programme
- Wellbeing activities and events
- A peer mentoring service
- An out of hours chat service
- A food and allotment project
The service is based in Brighton but works around the country to deliver LGBTQ Affirmative Practice training for Mental Health professionals, and seeks to influence national policy and procedure. It also runs Mental Health Promotion events and anti-stigma campaigns to help improve the mental health of communities.
