Community Learning Team

The Community Learning Team provides short informal courses and advice for adults who are not currently in work or those who have less than a Level 2 qualification (ie GCSE's or NVQ level 1) Courses are free and some even lead to qualifications and include: Food Safety, First Aid for babies and children and Confidence Building.

To be offered a free place you will need to:

  • Be 19 and over (except Young Parent courses)
  • Living in Brighton & Hove
  • Unemployed (or working less than 16 hours)
  • On a low income
  • Have no qualifications (or few)
