At Home Childcare Service - for parents
The Family Information Service's At Home Childcare Service offers parents Ofsted registered childcare in their own home.
At Home Childcarers have:
- a childcare qualification at Level 2 or equivalent, or a qualification in a related field such as nursing, teaching or youth work
- Ofsted registration which also requires them to have Paediatric First Aid, Public Liability Insurance and a DBS police check
- training and support from FIS, including Safeguarding Children and Lone Working
- been interviewed by FIS and had references taken

- Childcare to suit your lifestyle, ie. covering your working hours, shift patterns
- Competitive and flexible fees - including the use of funding such as tax credits, employer voucher schemes or tax-free childcare
- Childcarers with a range of experience, qualifications and skills, ie. Makaton signing, languages, car driver, etc
- 1:1 care and support for children with additional needs
