Youth Advice Centre (YAC)

The Youth Advice Centre offers Advice, Support and Guidance to young people in Brighton and Hove.  

YAC workers are able to offer expertise in a wide range of areas. Their aim is to provide young people in the local area with a safe and friendly environment where they can access helpful advice and support.

Housing Advice drop-in Mon-Fri 9am-12

YAC offer Housing Advice for anyone under 26 years old who is homeless or threatened with homelessness.  

YAC also offer a family support and mediation service which is 

Support and Advice drop-in Mon-Fri 3pm-6


YAC offer drop-in support and advice sessions (1:1) for young people aged 13-25. 

YAC offer STI testing, Pregnancy testing, C Card issuing as part of our sexual health service. We offer support to complete referrals to the Brighton Wellbeing Service. We offer support and advice  around relationships, school stress and drug and alcohol misuse. 

This drop-in is not a crisis service, if you are seeking urgent support around your mental health please contact crisis support services such as A and E, MHRRS or the Samaritans.
