St Peter's Community Primary School Nursery

We offer 50 places in our vibrant, stimulating & fun nursery for children aged 3 to 4 years at no cost. The staff includes a nursery teacher and an experienced nursery nurse. The children are taught through varied & carefully planned programmes of interesting & challenging learning experiences. Children will be sensitively supported in their development through the six areas of the foundation stage curriculum. Building on their interests, work is planned to meet their individual needs. They will learn vital educational & life skills such as co-operation, caring for others, consideration, intellectual stimulation, curiosity, confidence, independence, high self esteem and motivation. We provide educational outings and also organise events such as theatre groups to enrich children’s nursery experiences. We have recently built a fantastic new nursery building which is now in use with lovely new resources, including an ICT area and a loft castle. The nursery has direct access to our Early Years Foundation Stage outside areas.
