Busy Bees Brighton

Our environment

Busy Bees in Brighton provides outstanding childcare as reported by Ofsted in 2016.

We are housed in two converted Edwardian houses located in the picturesque Preston Park conservation area of Harrington Road.

Our nursery has a warm friendly atmosphere with abundance of resources suitable for all age groups. We have a large enclosed garden with a separate garden for babies and a unique separate soft room for all ages to explore.

We hold regular events from Summer party to Christmas crafts and inviting the local community into the setting to develop the children’s knowledge and hand on experiences.

Our staff

We have dedicated and a hard working staff team which consists of experienced and highly skilled individuals as well as staff training towards their qualification in childcare. The staff thrive on providing exciting and stimulating experiences for the children to grow and develop into happy and confident individuals, building on their own interests and natural curiosities.

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

We have a nursery SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator) that has been trained through the local authority and Busy Bees. The SENCO supports the staff, child and families to ensure that the child’s individual needs are met.

Food

Whilst at nursery the children enjoy delicious home cooked food prepared by our cook Jenny. All meals are nutritionally balanced and healthy and we have been awarded a five star Food Hygiene Rating.

Flexible, emergency and occasional childcare

Busy Bees Brighton can offer flexible, emergency and occasional childcare upon request for children who attend the setting. Early drop offs from 07:30 and late sessions until 18:30 available for an additional cost depending on availability. 

Transport Options

Busy Bees in Brighton are located close to Brighton and Preston Park train services with direct links to London. The 5B bus stops at the top of the road, the 5/5A at the bottom and there is on street parking available outside the nursery.
