Hello, my name is Fiona. I am married and mum to 5 children. I have spent over 30 years looking after both my own and other people's children and have felt it a privilege and honour to have done so.

I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Home-Based Childcare and have previously worked as a Childminder, mother's help, bank nursery assistant, creches and also at primary school. My youngest child was born with life-threatening special needs and was home-schooled until the age of 8, so I have first-hand knowledge of those particular demands.
I love my job and love being with children.
As an At Home Childcarer, I can provide your child or children with focussed love, care and fun - all in the security of their own home and according to their routines and needs. For parents, this is both convenient and reassuring - you can concentrate on your work without worrying.
My approach to childcare is child-centred, I adapt activities, and do a lot of one-to-one play including baking, crafts and educational play. I also think it is important to go out every day, if possible, and visit parks, libraries and playgroups.
